Snow Bait was made by recording 70 captive Snow and Ross Geese in the Spring of 2007. The geese were rounded up and then the breeding pairs were put in two separate pins. The breeding pairs were recorded calling back and forth to each other. After a couple days the geese were given a bunch of corn and the fighting and feeding sounds were recorded. Finally the geese in one pin were released and the sounds of the breeding pairs reuniting were recorded. All of the recordings were made with state of the art digital recording equipment in 100% digital stereo sound. Editing was completed on professional studio equipment to ensure the absolute clearest, most high quality recordings possible. Field tests conducted by hardcore Snow Goose hunters have proven the effectiveness of these recordings. They are extremely deadly on adult and juvenile Snow Geese.
